Store policy
How West Coast Security processes, ships, and supports orders for physical security products.
Effective July 14, 2026
This policy applies to physical products purchased from the WCS Store. Digital licenses, subscriptions, and downloadable software are covered by the Digital Delivery Policy.
Orders are reviewed for payment status, stock availability, destination, and any product-specific fulfillment requirements. An online payment authorization does not guarantee that a product is in stock or ready to ship. West Coast Security will contact the customer if availability, lead time, or an order detail requires confirmation.
Special-order, programmed, configured, restricted, or manufacturer-controlled products may require additional processing time.
Shipping may be calculated as a product-specific amount, a percentage of the merchandise value, an order-level rate, or a rate confirmed after the destination and shipment are reviewed. The cart and order confirmation identify the shipping amount used for the order.
If a displayed rate is materially incorrect because of an address, carrier, weight, dimension, or product-data issue, West Coast Security will contact the customer before shipment rather than silently charging a different amount.
West Coast Security selects an appropriate carrier and service for the shipment unless another method is confirmed in writing. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by inventory, manufacturer lead times, weather, carrier operations, destination access, and other conditions outside WCS control.
Tracking information is provided when it is available from the carrier. Risk of loss and title transfer as provided by applicable law and the confirmed order terms.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact WCS immediately if an address needs to be corrected. Changes may not be possible after a shipment has been released to the carrier, and carrier correction or redelivery fees may apply.
Inspect the shipment promptly. If a package appears damaged, photograph the packaging and product, retain all packing materials, and contact WCS with the order number. Also report missing items, shortages, or incorrect products promptly so WCS can investigate with the carrier or manufacturer.
Email TechServices@wcsecurity.com or call 800-421-2585. Include the WCS order number whenever possible.
