Room Sentry
Portable Windows monitoring for lawful, authorized use in temporary rooms and work spaces.
Room Sentry turns a Windows laptop into a lightweight room-monitoring system for hotel rooms, dorm rooms, classrooms, libraries, vacation rentals, and temporary work spaces where the user has permission to monitor. It captures motion-triggered video, sends email alerts with incident clips while you are away, and can notify you or selected emergency contacts when something needs attention.
For education clients, Classroom and Library profiles add quieter monitoring defaults for authorized school spaces when a teacher, librarian, or staff member needs to step away. Room Sentry also supports panic alert workflows, Do Not Disturb violation warnings, device and network change tracking, and easy clip review or sharing.

- Opens the main Room Sentry window visibly for normal first-run setup instead of beginning hidden in the system tray.
- Moves software update checks and window and system-tray behavior to Administration > Application.

Room Sentry is independently developed WCS software. Use monitoring and recording only where the user has permission and where applicable law, customer policy, consent, notice, and signage requirements have been satisfied.
