Proxmark Card Lab for macOS
Published October 5, 2026. West Coast Security, Inc. independently develops this Mac application. This policy describes the Mac edition; Windows and other WCS applications may have different practices.
Information processed on your Mac
The app processes credential findings, scan logs, client, site and technician details, notes, site profiles, operation history, and contact payloads locally. Workspace records, history, and contact-tag backups are encrypted locally using a native Keychain key. The app does not automatically upload this work data to WCS. It provides no WCS cloud account or remote work-data deletion service.
Reader connections and permissions
The app enumerates USB serial paths and communicates with the reader you explicitly select. Files are selected through Open and Save dialogs. The app does not request camera, microphone, location, or macOS Contacts access. Contact-card information is entered manually.
Exports and sharing
Reports, spreadsheets, contact payloads, and other exports you create may contain readable credential, client, or personal information. You control their destination and later sharing. Portable .wcsvault files use a password you select. Protect exported files and share them only with authorized recipients.
Analytics, advertising, and Apple services
The app includes no app analytics or advertising SDK and performs no cross-app tracking. Apple handles App Store and TestFlight distribution and purchase verification through StoreKit. WCS receives no payment-card data through the app. Apple's optional diagnostics and feedback are governed by Apple's policies and your Apple settings.
Support and website visits
If you email WCS, the information you choose to send, including messages, screenshots, and files, is handled separately from the local app workspace and used to respond to your request. Contact WCS to ask about handling or removal of support correspondence; no fixed retention period is promised here. Visits to WCS or third-party websites are separate from app use and are governed by those websites' privacy practices. See the WCS website privacy information.
Your choices and local deletion
Local records remain until removed using app or macOS controls. External exports remain in their selected destinations until you remove them. Back up records you need before removing the installation or Keychain material; losing an encryption key can prevent access to encrypted records. WCS cannot remotely remove files stored on your Mac or copies you shared with others.
