Sentry Desk Setup v2.7.13

Run SentryDesk_Setup_v2_7_13.msi to install Sentry Desk.
This MSI is built with WiX Toolset 5 and installs the .NET 10 self-contained Windows Desktop app.

Notes for DoorBird testing:
- Allow UDP 5060 for SIP and UDP 40000 for RTP audio through Windows Firewall.
- If testing across VPN, connect the VPN first, use Find DoorBird to scan the local or VPN subnet, and save the DoorBird address. In DoorBird Setup, use DETECT THIS PC IP and confirm it is the VPN adapter IP that DoorBird can reach. PUSH SIP SETTINGS writes that target to DoorBird. Site edition operators can also click ON DUTY to take over calls, which pushes the current workstation's SIP target.
- Enter Operator Name in Settings so other Sentry Desk stations can show who is currently on duty.
- New installs default to RTSP live video and auto-connect live view on launch.
- Live includes the LCD readiness display, local ring volume/mute/test ring controls, and the Axis Loudspeaker section. Detailed SIP/API/audio checks are available from Connection Health.
- Recording Mode defaults to High Quality for DoorBird widescreen recordings. Stamped Evidence is available when visible date/time and site details must be burned into the video.
- LibVLC runtime components are packaged with this installer for Sentry Desk live video and playback features.
- Customer logos can be selected in Settings. Use PNG/JPG, minimum 256 x 256 px, recommended 1024 x 1024 px, maximum 2048 px on the longest edge or 5 MB.
- Settings includes Find DoorBird beside the IP/Host field. It can scan selected local /24 adapter ranges, Windows-routed private VPN /24 ranges, or a custom IP range.
- Axis Speaker is a separate enterprise audio module for Axis network horns/speakers: discovery, connection testing, stored clip playback or ordered clip sequences, Live Axis Loudspeaker listen/push-to-talk/play controls, Axis mic listen/record, PC announcement recording/upload, and Axis mic/speaker gain adjustment without interfering with DoorBird SIP/video.
- Version 2.7.13 improves the Live Axis Loudspeaker slider presentation: more spacing under the three Axis buttons, equal Speaker Level and Mic Level slider track sizing, and no heavy black rectangle behind the Axis gain sliders.
- Version 2.7.12 improves Live control spacing on narrower windows, gives full-screen Live controls better vertical spacing, adds ordered Axis clip sequences with a visible pause between clips, and makes Stop Clip cancel an active sequence before it can trigger the next clip.
- Version 2.7.11 makes Request License prefer classic Outlook directly, asks before copying a license request to the clipboard when classic Outlook is not available, and preserves the permanent update manifest plus beta compatibility endpoint.
- Version 2.7.8 removes legacy per-user 2.7.6 and 2.7.7 shortcuts during install.
- Version 2.7.7 tightens the Live lower-control spacing and adds a compact manual update-check button under the top-right version label.
- Version 2.7.6 improves Live spacing, changes Live Axis Listen In to STOP LISTENING while active, and replaces the first-launch time warning with an animated loading window.
- Version 2.7.5 tightens the Live dashboard height and replaces the native Axis level sliders with dark console-style controls.
- Version 2.7.4 separates DoorBird intercom controls from Axis Loudspeaker controls on Live, labels the local ring panel as DESK RING, and adds Axis Speaker Level / Mic Level controls to the dashboard.
- Version 2.7.3 adds AXIS TALK to the Live/live-view control rail so operators can speak through the configured Axis speaker without switching to Axis Speaker settings.
- Version 2.7.2 changes Axis Talk to Hold to Talk and smooths the live transmit stream with steady 20 ms G.711 pacing.
- Version 2.7.1 improved Axis live talk and clip upload on devices that require negotiated authentication for audio POST endpoints.
- Registration uses WCSLicenseManager-compatible signed offline licenses. Sentry Desk embeds only the public verification key.
- License requests are generated from Registration inside Sentry Desk and emailed to TechServices@wcsecurity.com with Machine ID, computer name, Windows user, and local IP details. West Coast Security reviews the request and issues the appropriate signed offline license file.
- Licensing model: 14-day Demo, Licensed for 1 workstation / 1 DoorBird door, Site for 5 workstations / 1 DoorBird door, with signed add-on entitlements for future expansion.
- Sentry Desk checks the WCS update manifest when the app opens. Registration also includes a Check for Updates button.
- Upgrades preserve existing Settings, Logs, Snapshots, Recordings, Axis recordings, and saved license keys. License state, saved credentials, settings, update state, and logs are stored under ProgramData. Operator working files stay under Documents\WCS\Sentry Desk.
- During upgrades, setup detects a running Sentry Desk app, closes it, waits for Windows to release the old program files, and retries the update before reporting a failure.
- Echo-safe speaker desk mode is enabled by default for no-headset Live desks.
- The download page intentionally provides only the MSI. License requests are generated from inside Sentry Desk, not from the download page.
- The MSI creates Start Menu and Desktop shortcuts and uses WiX Toolset 5 for managed deployment consistency with the other WCS desktop apps.
- Sentry Desk targets .NET 10 LTS for the app, licensing library, and setup bootstrapper.
